LOPE Fundraiser Screening of Buck Documentary
LOPE will host a sneak preview screening of Buck on Thursday, June 23rd, in downtown Austin at the Violet Crown Cinema.
Starting at 7pm, we will have appetizers available in the cinema lobby (along with a full cash bar) before the screening. The screening begins at 7:45pm.
The film is a moving documentary about the life and horsemanship philosophy of Buck Brannaman. It won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award and has garnered much praise from film critics across the country.
Tickets are $25 (purchased through LOPE) and the first 30 people to buy tickets will receive a special 8.5 x 11 film poster signed by Buck. In addition, there will be special speakers available for Q&A after the screening (two equestrians who have ridden with Buck for many years). Proceeds will benefit the LOPE horses.
The brand-new Violet Crown is a beautiful art house cinema located in downtown Austin. Their theaters include extra comfortable seats, large screens and a café/bar area.
Seating is limited at this sneak preview screening — and the event might sell out before 6/23. All tickets must be paid in advance through LOPE. Please reserve your tickets now via PayPal – and enjoy a wonderful film!
