An old friend returned home this year. Tulsa Mambo was our first ever OTTB warhorse. Back in the day, he helped launch LOPE’s adoption ranch. Tulsa has a keen wit and loves a good joke. We had many adventures together in LOPE’s early days. His adoption family had some big life changes, so Tulsa came back to LOPE in 2019. Tulsa is now 25 years old and enjoying life on a nearby foster farm. And he still has the same alert eyes and sense of mischief that he did as a young racehorse.
